Zebra Wood Horizontal

We hand milled and stained this beautiful Zebra wood to make this incredibly unique shadowbox. The photograph is mounted to aluminum and floated onto the Zebra wood panel with matching shadowbox spacers that hold the UV acrylic off the art.

3 Dimensional Acrylic Display Cases

Clean Design to Showcase Rare Collections

Bag Front 1 Bag Side 1

This is a camel saddle bag that a client brought back from Morocco. We mounted an iron rod to the float board so that it appears to be hanging. It is mounted to the fabric wrapped float board as well. The 2 raised fabric mats also wrap around the sides of the box so it is clean and contemporary from every angle.

Bridle Front

This beautifully embroidered piece is also part of a camel saddle. It is sewn to the fabric wrapped board and the tassels are free hanging.

Bridle Side

We can build you an acrylic case to display any object in your personal collection. Please send This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it an email or stop by our showroom today!

Who Says Frames Have To Be Square?

Thinking Outside The Box

We built these groupings of Diamond Mirrors for a client's downtown condo project. There are over a 100 of these diamonds that will adorn the halls of the freshly redesigned building.

They give a really different and dynamic look, where a simple square mirror just wouldn't do.

The bronze and gold tones of these frames fit perfectly into their new color scheme. Mirrors are a fantastic way to make hallways and smaller living areas seem more spacious.

Canvas Stretching on Steriods

Tony's Custom Framing in conjunction with Mitschke's Custom Framing had the pleasure of stretching and hanging the beautiful new mural at the entrance of the Del Mar Turf Club. Famed murialist Pierre Bellocq painted this 30'x6' canvas.

img_5099

We have worked on many large pieces in the past, but this is by far the largest piece we have ever conquered. It took a lot of planning, modular construction of stretcher bars, and a day to construct and stretch, and a day to install.

img_5090

It wieghed a couple hundred pounds and took 15 people to get onto the wall.

img_5094

It looks spectacular and we are very proud of it, and would love for you to go and see it next time you are at the race track. Please keep Tony's Custom Framing in mind for your next canvas stretching project. Email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Is It Always About The Price?

After service, communications, quality (control and assurance) and response times... yeah, it's about price! Nov15Are You Paying Too Much for Your Frames?
Know Before You Go

You may be paying way too much for your picture framing. The inequalities begin by accurately translating “design speak” into “framer’s speak.” There’s a significant difference between the “finished size” and the “glass size” of a piece of art, the measurement framers use to calculate final prices.
